After School Club

We started an After School Club in 2018 for primary pupils from Doune and Deanston and the surrounding area. Sessions are overseen by DDYP staff, sometimes with the help of a few volunteers, and run throughout the school term. There are lots of activities to choose from at After School Club.

Young people can take part in arts and crafts sessions, play board or computer games, make a start on homework or have a game of pool. We also make the most of having Moray Park on our doorstep, with supervised play in the swing park and games of football, cricket, rounders and dodgeball on the playing fields.

After School Club runs from 3.20-5.20pm, Monday to Friday, during Stirling Council school term. We’d like to offer longer sessions but are currently limited to two hours per day due to building license regulations. Each session costs £7.50 but we’re happy to talk, in confidence, to any parent or carer who feels their child would benefit from taking part but is worried about money.
