After School Club

We started our After School Club in 2018 for primary pupils from Doune, Deanston and the surrounding area.

Sessions run throughout the school term and are overseen by DDYP staff, sometimes with help from volunteers.

Young people can take part in arts and crafts, play board or computer games, make a start on homework or enjoy a game of pool.

We also make the most of having Moray Park on our doorstep, with supervised play in the swing park and games of football, cricket, rounders and dodgeball on the playing fields.

Times and cost

  • Days: Monday to Friday during Stirling Council school terms.

  • Times: 3.20–5.20pm.

  • Cost: £11 (per 2 hour session).

We’d like to offer longer sessions, but we are currently limited to two hours per day due to Care Commission regulations.

We’re happy to talk, in confidence, to any parent or carer who feels their child would benefit from taking part but is worried about money.
